The concept of Boliver International was initiated in 1945 by an over-achiever Mr William C Rear, an underground miner in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, who is well-known to his co-workers as 'Boliver.'

Over the last thirty-seven (37) years, his eldest son Mr Neill W Rear has headed the company through growth to its current expanse.

In the early 1990's, the Company has re-focused itself to accommodate the demands of the industry and incorporated to trade under the company name Boliver International in honour of its late founder.
